Atari Poetry I a cinematic poem developed through binary codes and assembler language, based on the classic video game system Atari 2600. It runs on a RAM file storage cartridge that can be upgraded and updated with other poems.

This work continues the exploration that I started in 1985, employing the Atari console
to produce an art related experience and showing new ways to write/program and exhibit poetry. Due to the important role of Atari on the advance of many technological concepts and devices, the use of the Atari transcends the meaning of nostalgia and retro, and turns into a powerful icon of the era that we have been living for the past 25 years.
