Poetic Dialogues is an on-line interactive poetry generator. It emulates a slot machine and can produce 1000 audivisual poems. When a user enters the project, 3 random faces appear and recite a verse previously wrote by Merhi. The dialogue among the characters becomes a coherent short poem.

This work was made with the prototype of the first wristwatch camera. Voices were recorded operating an embedded computer mic. The resulting sequence of face pictures, taken frame by frame, were merged with sounds using Adobe (Macromedia) Flash. So, even when a sophisticated machine was employed to create this work, the making process is based in the most basic principle of film making.
